We are excited to announce the appointment of Chris Jewell as our new Chief Revenue Officer. The announcement of Chris’s hire comes on the heels of our successful Series A investment of $9.2 million from Bellini Capital.
Phillip Wegner, CEO and founder of TechGrid, expressed enthusiasm about our newest addition, saying, "As we enter this next phase of growth, Chris's leadership and expertise will play a crucial role in leveraging the momentum generated by our recent investment and rebrand. This will solidify TechGrid as the go-to platform to run a modern TSP business.”
Market Opportunity
Canalys predicts businesses will consume $4.94 Trillion in technology products and services in 2024 with $3.6 trillion (73.2%) sold and delivered via the IT Channel.
While this paints a promising picture for TSPs, capitalizing on this opportunity requires a crucial first step: digital transformation.
The average TSP uses 30-45 tools to run their business, and most of them don’t connect. This creates a fragmented landscape, often further exacerbated by partners who rely on manual methods like spreadsheets for quoting and PDFs for orders.
All of this results in disconnected systems leading to inefficient workflows and poor customer experience.
In this environment, only those TSPs with a strong digital infrastructure, connected tools, and streamlined processes will be able to cash in on their share of the proverbial pie.
Modernizing the IT Channel
Clearly, there is a critical need for a more efficient and connected ecosystem. This understanding fueled our own transformation.
We transitioned from a TSP in September of 2021 to focus on building the TechGrid platform.
This shift came after witnessing the challenges faced by many in the industry and dealing with them firsthand as a TSP.
We built a platform that connects and streamlines the 40+ applications TSPs use to provide managed services and the 20+ applications used to deliver security services, eliminating tech sprawl and modernizing business operations.
Our CEO shares the vision behind TechGrid.
