Over the past three years, we’ve spent a lot of time listening to your feedback and watching how different MSPs and VARs use our platform.
In this post, we’ll break down what’s changed, why we made these updates, and how it impacts you in the best possible way.
Why We Changed Things
We launched our initial pricing plans back in September 2021. A lot has changed since then: the market, your needs, and the array of capabilities we now offer.
Here’s the quick rundown of what we heard from you:
- Out of reach: “This is too expensive for our current setup.”
- More than I need: “We only need the essentials.”
- We need more: “We need more workflows, reporting, integrations, and support.”
- Not sure: “The price seems too low and don’t know if you can handle our complexity.”
- Can’t find what I need: “We want custom features, but your plans don’t accommodate that.”
With all this in mind, we rebuilt our pricing structure to better match your real-world needs—whether you’re an MSP dipping a toe into automation or a large-scale operation needing enterprise-grade capabilities.

Here’s what our new pricing plans look like:
Starter Plan
Ideal if you’re a smaller MSP or just want all the essentials for a modern digital sales workflow:

Professional Plan
Perfect if you’re ready to scale or looking to digitize your sales AND fulfillment process. The Pro plan adds TechGrid Fulfillment functionality that includes:
- Order Management System (OMS)
- Procure, Track, Provision (PTP)
- Subscriptions
- Invoicing
- Fulfillment Workflow
This plan also has more advanced CPQ capabilities around bundling, guided solution workflows, Tech Finance (as-a-Service) and automation.
Enterprise Plan
Tailored for MSPs or VARs that have more complex backend operations. Provides granular control over workflows, more advanced reporting, and specialized support.
Custom Plan
Our Custom Plan is built for special requests and unique setups. Don’t fit neatly into a standard plan? No worries, we can find a solution that works for you.
What’s New or Different
Monthly Active Team Members
When we used to be an MSP we were never big fans of "seats".
Seats cause friction.
They make it difficult to know how many you need, they don't scale easily, and you always end up paying for users that barely use the software.
From day one, TechGrid chose to use Monthly Active Team Members (MATMs).
Monthly Active Team Members allow you to give everyone on your team access and only charges you when one or more activities takes place on the platform.
This enables the platform to easily grow with you and also ties the cost to the actual use of the platform.
So, what's new with MATMs?
Each plan now comes with 3 team members for free. We also adjusted the price for additional MATMs based on plan. As you move up, the price per MATM will gradually increase from $35 for Starter plans to $65 for Enterprise plans.
Refined Tiers
We completely re-built each plan from the ground-up based on capability and functionality.
Now you can easily spot which tier makes sense for your current business model—and which one you’ll want next when you’re ready to level up.
Digital Fulfillment
Pro and Enterprise plans unlock our complete quote to cash workflow. This also represents one of the biggest differences between the Starter plan and Pro/Enterprise.

Tech Finance
As-a-Service requires fulfillment tools, so if you’re interested in packaging solutions that bundle hardware, software, and services, then the Pro plan will be the first you want to look at.

Clear Upgrade Paths
We’ve mapped out straightforward upgrade paths, so when your business grows—and it will!—you can move up without hitting bumps in the road.
Streamlined Pricing
No more guessing games about what’s included. We bundled high-demand features into each tier, so you don’t have to juggle tons of add-ons.
Onboarding Fees
Our onboarding fees now better align with each plan and the required steps to get your team up and running. Fees range from 2x to 6x the MRR depending on complexity and any necessary integrations.
Annual Payment Option
We now offer a %15 discount to MSPs and VARs that join TechGrid and choose to have their subscription billed annually.

Question: What Happens to My Current Plan?
Answer: If you’re on a legacy plan, you will be “grandfathered” into your current plan. However, we highly suggest checking out the new plans to ensure you’re getting the capabilities you need.
Question: Will I Lose My Data if I Switch?
Answer: Not at all. All your quotes and other data stay right where they are.
Question: What if I’m still not sure which plan is right for me?
Answer: Not to worry. Our team is ready to answer all your questions and analyze your business needs to determine which plan (even custom) is the right fit.
Question: Are there any setup or onboarding fees?
Answer: We charge a one-time onboarding fee to ensure a smooth, efficient rollout. This includes: guided setup, workflow alignment, and configuration—critical steps to fully digitize your IT sales and fulfillment.
Question: Do you offer a free trial?
Answer: Unfortunately, not at this time. However, we are looking at other options to allow you to explore the platform and to de-risk adoption.
